Facebook Games - Social City

When I was asked to play with Social City by a buddy of mine, I was quite doubtful in the beginning. Yes, Facebook games can be quite addictive for some, mostly puzzle games, but simulators? Yet after learning that Playdom was the one I set my doubts aside and give it a try.

Game play

Game play is fairly simple to pick up for Social City as you start the Farm Heroes Saga Cheats for gold bars game with a small amount of cash off and the tutorial provides you with a brief intro on how the game operates. The interface lets you decide how you order your small town during the first degree of the game and assemble and what you want.

As the Mayor of your city that is new, you're responsible for increasing your town population, manage the town resources in order from a small town into a mega city and keeping your citizens happy. Seem simple? Actually it's after a couple of minutes into the game I've got the hang of the game mechanisms.

Among the primary aim of the game would be to increase the inhabitants to your just raise town and as the Mayor you may have to construct residential area for your folks to stay (for Social City, it looks like you train your citizen rather than bringing them from nearby town or cities, not unheard of truly) This somehow feel more like one of those war game strategy game like order and capture instead of the normal city simulator. Training citizens...seem like a military town to the mayor after.

As soon as you have enough citizens as their Mayor it's your obligation to keep them productive and happy by building theatre, fast food outlet and leisure region. The interface to let you construct your town/city is fairly simple to handle as it's broken up into groups (Residential, Factory, and Leisure). One issue I do discover during my time in Social City is that although the buildings are very well design, there's no choices whatsoever to allow them to rotate. I really wish that this attribute can be implemented by Playdom as it'll enable my construction to be better placed by me on the map.

One area of progress for Societal city is that I see is how his explanation slow you collect resources during the game's start. As Mayor no tax cash is collected by you from your precious citizen. Instead your important income comes from taking up contracts and producing various goods in your factory district (food). Everything which you make takes time and you must invest a little before you can see your returns. I really like Playdom add realistic to the match, however I do wish I can suck on some hardworking tax payers cash a little. I'm the Mayor after all and it's my job to keep the city.

Additionally, I do see is that you need more than several friends to play you in order for you to expend your property or to grow. The more individuals in your friend list the big plot of property you can buy. I do find it frustrating in the beginning that is a bit since I see that I've rather numerous buddies but I need to send one by another to request them to be my neighbors. Expect Playdom simply add my neighbors with this attribute and mechanically, I could save myself the problem of sending the invitations.

For an internet base flash game, I'm really amazed what Playdom has done. When you examine it, you'll be by detail the game is awe. At first myself was anticipating this game to be simply a standard city simulator with buildings. Nevertheless, myself was quite surprise to locate a city that is dynamic with folks working in the factory, walking around the roads and spending quality time in the theatre. This is one remarkable game that can force you to marvel at your development and sit back and think back much flash game has gone to 3D models from the day of 2D Sprites.

The details go as far as supplying clouds hovering over the small city, law officer patrolling the roads and citizen that is ordinary mowing their yard. Now only matter left that would make this game alive is to have cars driving down the roads, that would be extremely cool, right?

Sound

Nothing much myself can say about the sound quality for this game as it's like any other flash game with persistent music. At least the music isn't that annoying, but if you prefer something different, I'd only propose muffling the music and simply listen to your favourite music in iTunes.

Decision

Myself do find Social City instead amusing and like all Facebook games, this is for people who really want to spend their spare time playing it without installing it into their system. It can get a little dull after you run out of cash and must wait till your funds get bank in, but this will be fairly interesting once you learn the best way to handle your resource and make the manner you enjoy grows. I'd give this game a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
